Mother's Day Flowers

How many times have you seen men and women grab a bouquet of flowers at the grocery store for Mother's Day? Yes, there are plenty of beautiful arrangements and she will most likely love them, but you probably don't have any idea what you're saying to her. Don't worry, in most cases, she won't know the meaning of each flower either.

However, creating a meaningful arrangement of Mother's Day flowers will go much further. After all she is your mom, and she has sacrificed a lot in order for you to be the person you are today. Express your gratitude with some of these flower ideas below:

Saying I Love You and more

The traditional approach to saying; I love you would be red roses. It definitely puts meaning behind the flowers, but your thoughtfulness should always shine through. If she knows you customized an arrangement based on the meaning of the flowers, they will be more sentimental. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if she dries a few of them out and adds them to her memory box.

Here are a few different ways to say; I love you and more without using roses:

Pink Carnation - Take the time to add this flower to her Mother's Day arrangement. It's a way to represent love, but also show her gratitude for all she has done over the years.

Red and/or Pink Tulips - While red tulips represent true love, pink ones are all about caring. Be sure to incorporate either one into your Mother's Day arrangement.

Orchids - The orchid is not a common flower used on Mother's Day, but it does offer true meaning. It's the perfect way to express how beautiful she is to you. A daisy flower also represents beauty.

We understand roses are the easiest way to express love. Just remember that your arrangement can say a lot more when you add carnations, orchids, and tulips to the bouquet.
